Dylan Gets a Grip

Dylan and his friend Sophia get close and personal.

Ben and Dylan and Jason and Sophia getting the party started.

Up close and personal with everyone's favorite crooner.

Peaceful baby. So sweet.

Dylan's got a rattle!!

Happy guy on the play mat.

Dylan loves the cardinal. Maybe he's a St. Louis fan. Or Arizona.

Drooling and happy - there's nothing better,

Just the absolute cutest kid on the block.

Singing Fools

Dylan is as excited about the weekend as his parents!

Smiley guy after crepes at Cafe Cafe on Saturday morning.

Dylan and Daddy.

Dylan's first trip to the playground. He wasn't too enthusiastic about the kiddie slide so we quickly moved onto the big kids' slide...

...And over on the big kids' side of the yard...Mommy and Dylan at the bottom of the tube.

Such a sweet little guy.

And, last but not least, another video to keep you all sated for a couple days. We call this one "Daddy and Dylan Duet." As you can tell, it was quite well rehearsed.

Dylan the Dude

If you aren't up on current hip hop trends, Devin the Dude has a platinum selling album. Judging from his charm, good looks and singing range, Dylan the Dude will probably end up with a star in front of the Chinese Theater within the next couple years.

I've seen some amazing feats of flexibility in my years, but Dylan's toe suck/nose pick ranks among the most extreme.

Our neighbor, Cynthia, and Dylan.

Cardigan Dylan.

A video of Dylan on his new playmat.

Here's a series of Madras Dylan hanging out by the garden.

Whoops!

Daddy and D on the playmat.

Happy little guy.

Labor Day with Lucas and Kate

Lucas and Kate came from SF to visit over Labor Day Weekend. Quite the blowout for little D.

Lucas and Kate.

Hanging out at Cheesman Park.

Lucas surfing his floaty at the Tulp's pool.

Dylan and Mia.

Hiking at Lake Isabelle in Roosevelt National Park. We did this same hike 2 weeks after Dylan was born and where we're sitting in this photo was underneath 20 feet of water!

Mommy and Dylan - he found his tongue.

Anyone need tickets to the Gun Show?

Dylan is big enough to face forward in the baby Bjorn and he loves it!

Julia's Visit

Dylan's been keeping us so busy lately with new gestures, sounds and smiles that we haven't had a chance to post photos. Here are a few from the last couple weeks.

Julia, Jamie and Dylan reading Rumble in the Jungle.

Jamie and Julia cheffing up a feast while Dylan chills in his swing.

The feast: stuffed portabellas, garlic risotto and garden salad.

Julia, Ben and Dylan outside of Domo, one of Zagat's highest rated Japanese restaurants in the U.S.

Dylan gets his first kung fu lesson.

Ben and Jamie each had a 5 course Wankosushi dinner - not your standard sashimi.
